I love your play-by-play commentary as well. Almost as good as being their to cheer on your OZ-critter myself! Clearly you are a rocked scientist at the computer thingy!!! I am SOOOOO impressed with you guy's site/page/whatever cool thing you made here! Will read every bit of it later must go get more dirty. Must get on at least 2 of these "precious" creatures before dark or I'm going to kick my own butt. You are awesome!!!!!!! What do you mean "SALE"? button? If you are thinking of selling you-know-who, I think that is a criminal offence of some-sort. Ride on Rock Star!!!!!!

Hi Amy, just had a tiny Clydesdale observation....(big horse, tiny thought!). Must first tell you that Jauntey Chauncey, Calypso,--(Lou-Lou), and Carousel-- (Chuckles) have self trained themselves to return home and check in every 4 or 5 hours. Pretty darn pleased with them--noticed I used their "fancy" names unstead of evil escape-artists!!
Anyhoo, I have noticed these Clydes can really pick their feet up when launching themselves over high fences when they are escaping my property. They just barge through anything they don't really need to leap over. Darn big-boned, but adorable, horsies!!!
Amy, my stupid Dutch Wbld stud doesnt even attempt jumping out of these fences. My point is...Amy my Clydes have no respect for fences and I think we may need to start "Cross Country" Clyde jumping club where its OK for these big lugs to bash over brush fences and such. Pretty sure they would be pretty awesome at it!!!
Going back out to de-burr these lovely creatures. SO ANNOYING!!!!!
Also, they totally look at me while escaping over fences as if they are QUITE PROUD of themselves. SO ANNOYING!!!!
Cute tho.

I did the WORLD'S DUMBEST THING!!! So me, being THE BRAIN SURGEON THAT I AM! Decided it would be OK to leave one of my gates open, as Einstien (me) runs to town real quick. WRONG!! Driving by my nieghbor's farm--on the way home--I notice my FAVORITE MAMBO (mommy Clyde!) lay-ing-(sp?) in his cattle gaurd. 3 legs totally STUCK!! Bad time to have big feet! Long story short,...it took every man on my Mtn, and even some poor lost guy (was sweating like a PIG!)- a few children and two other women. Special metal-cutting tools,..flashlights, you would have DIED!!! I threw up like 6 or 7 times!! Oh yes! and the fire Dept. which was some sort of a joke- to cut my Mombo free from the cattle gaurd. Crap. I think Urse will be rather displeased 'a his thingy (cattle gaurd/metal pipes). Whatever. Was pretty heart-warming to see everyone come together to free my Mambo! She was cool as a cucumber. Thank GAWD!!!!!Note to self: shut gate!! DUH!= me!
XO-Stace!!

Im so glad too have found your web page devoted too Ozzy, because my 12yr old daughter has a pure Clyde, gelding who is 5yrs old.We just moved barns last month, and for now my daughter and her Clyde are learning Dressage, when he is fully matured she also wants too do Hunters with her big guy,who is the same size has yours. Her and her Welsh pony did very well in Hunters for 2yrs,and she has done all the dirty.hard work it takes too keep a horse happy, and she earned her clyde and she still does all the work good and bad.

Anyways the trainer at our barn says that Clydes dont do well in dressage or Hunters, and even tho Im sending her pics left and right of amazing Clydes doing both she isnt too excited over training our Clyde which she will start his training in Sept.I know you must have dealt with the same issues of trainers/people syaing Clydes dont do well at certain riding disciplines, how did you get over that?

Our Clyde is built just like Ozzy he is 18hh,but lean and very athletic. My daughter is 4'6 and he allows her to ride him barback, and is a true gentle giant.Right now findinf tack is our biggest issue, but Im just having a bridle made, and a warmblood saddle fits him great.

So please if you have time email me,and let me know how too deal with trainers who are so negative,my daughter adores her big guy,and could careless if they ever place in a show, but it does upset her when she hears people say these things.Any other advice you have would be very appreciated.Thank you,oh you have a very amazing, handsome guy for sure.Be blessed.
